We'll be safe by then so it won't matter, and Southampton isn't exactly a long haul.

Just a heads up that this will now move to Thursday 16th July as Saints playing the Monday before.

Where have you seen this? It makes zero sense.

Saints are due to play Monday 13th 8pm, Wednesday 15th 8pm, Saturday 18th 3pm.

If they move our game back a day (to avoid a 48hr gap), the gap between that and the Saturday game becomes just 43hrs!

Nothing has been agreed yet for the final 3 sets of fixtures. The dates and times on the Premier League website are only provisional. The only thing we can be almost certain of is that the final set of fixtures will all kick off on Sunday 26th at 3pm so they are all played at the same time. I expect our game against Southampton to take place on the 16th but the Newcastle game could be anytime from the 19th to the 22nd.

Obviously the saints game against Bournemouth will move to Sunday or Monday as will our game against Newcastle. How does that make zero sense!
