We had a huge swarm in our front garden an hour ago, appearing out of a hole in the ground. Now all gone.

I can confirm the outskirts of Eastbourne town centre have gone live, and the Seagulls are having a field day in our garden.
Hardly any insects to speak of in RH16, flying or otherwise

last year in early spring i woke up to about 20 blue bottles in my kitchen and couldnt for the life work out where they came from. opened windows etc but buggers didnt want to go out in the heat. i found a few squirts of kitchen disinfectant spray in their faces does the trick. they fall to the ground and cant fly giving me time to get rid....u might want to try the same trick with the flying ants
