This programme is on Sky Documentaries channel. For anyone who is 50+ it's a real trip down memory lane.
It's been superbly made with some great interviews and stories.
No prima donnas, just great honesty and passion.

I'd highly recommend it.

They reckon the knock on effect from Heysel, i.e. Everton not competing in the European Cup, and possibly winning it, turned him into an alcoholic, which in turn contributed to his early death.

What's nice is that the players sharing their stories are the likes of John Bailey, Pat Van Der Hauwe, Neville Southall, Peter Reid, Adrian Heath, Trevor Steven, Paul Bracewell and plenty more.
None of them come across as big time charlies
It also has a great soundtrack.
