Telegraph standards really have slipped, sensationalist fearmongering redtop style. no new powers at all, under 1984 Public Health legislation, if closure, decontamination dont work, demolishion is an option. have to read half way through to find that though.

I think this is scare mongering by the former Johnson loving rags. Councils will be able to force premises to close to stop the spreading of Covid19. Not much different from what they can do now with local lockdowns. Destroying buildings as part of 1984 Control of Disease Act? It's just one thing picked out for impact. Destroying a building will not get rid of covid. Do you really see councils doing this?

Archer destroys Kevin Maguire on GMB this morning, nothing better than seeing Maguire squirm and wet his y-fronts. Maguire is a nasty worm of a man that should not be allowed to be anywhere near the media.
GMB has been giving him far too much airtime.
