Hi All

We are currently engaged in proposals for a planned series of VIP sporting events in Brighton / Hove for 2021, serving the purpose of raising funds for local sports clubs but also as a thank you to those members of the local sporting family who have helped mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on their local communities.

If you are a member or have connections with any local football club that have delivered short sided football tournaments please let me know if interested, message me so I can forward the club the plans so far - it is in a very early stage but this is the aim so far...

Eight-a-side football tournament: Spring / Summer 2021

We would be delighted to discuss your club hosting the event, and hopefully in addition to pitch and officials' fees we will give you, that you as a club can find ways to leverage monies from this event, not least engaging members employers to enter and donate directly to your club.

As with all hosting events, we are looking at this as being a partnership, and hope that your club will engage with the city and beyond to make it a successful event that will also run in 2022 and 2023.

WHO WE ARE:

Legacy 300 is an athlete led purpose movement which since 2012 has raised over £502K in direct donations to good causes through the staging of experience days, hosted by GB Olympic Gold Medallists; the project is detailed on www.legacy300.com/about-us , the photo albums of www.facebook.com/legacy300 and references from the good causes that have benefited from this project www.legacy300.com/goodcauses are available

THANK YOU DAYS: A NEW CSR INITIATIVE:

Our rescheduled Rugby, Cricket, Football and Netball corporate charity days for 2021 are to be hosted by national and local sports stars. In addition to raising money for the participants' chosen good causes, they will also be staged as a THANK YOU to NHS / Key workers, volunteers and charity fundraisers from the respective sporting families who have done their bit to help mitigate the impact of Covid-19 on the area.

HOW CLUBS CAN BENEFIT:

Host clubs of the planned events will generate £1500-£2000 per event in fees and additional event revenues, based on previous examples of hosting such events.

Other sports clubs can sell places on these event days cost and risk free, to club members, their members network of friends and work colleagues and to the wider business community. Based on eight years of fundraising as detailed on www.legacy300.com/goodcauses ), if they don't sell there is no cost to the club. On average each £75 place generates £210, (2019 Auction returns), every club keeps the donation at source and passes on the entry fee and participant to us.

Look forward to hearing back from you all..

You might want to try Worthing Town FC. They have taken over Palantine Park in Worthing for their youth and adult teams so have a multi-pitch area with fairly new clubhouse that might suit you.
