With a population of 328 million people, you would have thought they could come up with two better candidates to run the country.
We have only got a population of 66 million, so at least we have an excuse for having Boris.

Ridiculous that paid up Democrats were completely unable to see the big picture of beating Trump, instead they spent months in an arms race to elect either one of two very elderly candidates, one of whom is a rarity in the US, a true socialist.

I don't know nearly enough about US politics or Biden himself to be qualified to answer that. I'll leave the qualified comments to the US living NSCers who seem to be able to post without the need for self-indulgent dribbling, of which I've counted about five.
It's like asking your average Miami Dolphins season ticket holder for an appraisal of Sir Kier Starmer's ability to win Scotland back off Jimmy Krankie.

I've somehow convinced myself he won't make it to the ballot paper; either a scandal that actually takes him down comes out or he's declared medically unfit. Cuomo or Michelle Obama to take the nomination at the DNC in that case.

There has surely been others, but I can't be bothered to Google it. Democracy has been an ideal, not an actuality since the days of The Forum.
yes he seems uninspiring and a rather poor candidate. I hope he gets elected obviously and I just wonder whether his lack of "personality" may be a refreshing change for some. Hopefully the U.S will wake up and smell the corpses

I know I know orange man bad, democrats good blah blah blah but I am absolutely gutted that this country had an opportunity to truly move in line with the rest of the first world and get Bernie in, only to see all the centrist wankers drop out for Joe to win it.
In fairness I reckon Trumpet would have beaten all of the Democrats shortlist of candidates.
