A very under-rated band, The Pretty Things. Never got the recognition and the success the deserved INHO. First rock opera and all that.

My regret is that I never saw them live. At the time any music fan knew the Pretty Things, some giggled at their name if they did not know the song they took it from . They stood the test of time.
Phil apperently fell off his bicycle, then died of complications following a hip operation. ..... And they say cycling is good for your health!
