Indeed, tan now, pay later. Factor 30 all day everyday, especially when standing outside in a supermarket queue, although being a floral bucket hat and sunglasses kind of guy my fizzog is always well shielded.

Morning. There is something lovely about being outside on a warm day, especially in a scenic place, when you are the only person around. I love it.
My favourite song EVER ! Plan to have it played at my funeral.
In answer to HT - if I had to pick then the morning sun at dawn. Tend to be up early anyway so see it quite often and it's very peaceful at that time.

Can't beat a classic Somerset evening.
Sunshine in the afternoon, then clouds over for an hour or 2, and clear again about 6ish for glorious sunshine with cocktails/beer/whatever.
Having said that i also love the calm of the morning sun. Perhaps that, with the cocktails/beer, is the answer?
