Yesterday's news about Tim Brooke Taylor, had us going from The Yorkshiremen quickly through to Ripping Yarns and Golden Gordon.

As that was so well received we moved onto All-Priests Five-a-Side Over-75's Indoor Challenge Football Match, on Craggy Island.

I now have an unshakeable feeling there's another really obvious TV comedy series/episode, that's bloody funny and football related, but I'm completely at a loss for a name.

Any help would be appreciated.

Likely Lads - Don't mention the score.

Thanks, that's probably what I was thinking of although I'd hazard a guess that would be so alien to Jnr, he just won't get it.

Unlike Gordon throwing a stone at his son after he'd said hello, at the start of RY.

Danny Baker commentating on pub Sunday morning football was the funniest football programme I have seen.
'The pear shaped defender with shorts 2 sizes too small'.

I recall one of his phone-ins where it was raining during a Sunday game.

The referee didn't want to get wet so officiated it from his car, using windscreen wipers, headlamps and indicators to illustrate his decisions.

11 men against 11 is on the All4 website

It's alright. I wouldn't normally recommend it but in the current circumstances it's a reasonable distraction for an hour or so. James Bolam is great in it, but then he's great in everything.

Mike Bassett might be next.

We watched Number 9, which was great as we're now occasionally watching the whole lot from the beginning.

Yesterday was 'A Quiet Night In' superb.

Eight one!! Eight bloody one!!!

As said earlier, the very opening, before 8-1 had us in stitches.

Mother sends son out of the way.
He passes dad.
Says hello.
Gordon throws a brick at him.

Feckin genius.
