I certainly hope so. It will mean that the police can arrest someone and take a test sample - which can then be used to check their DNA against the database of serious crimes. Hopefully they'll be able to clear up quite a few cases and get some dangerous people behind bars.

Wow. And we all lose our human rights at the same time.

Will Never happen And should not happens a breach of multiple human rights laws.

technically possible, a good idea even. it wont get past the GDPR though.

to the OP, its probably partly true, difficult to tell which are real claims or hyped up fear. its emergency legislation, passed by the house, with sunset clause to end in 6mths. if you trust politicans to maintain our traditional freedoms then nothing to worry about, if you dont trust them then its an shocking power grab.
