Thought that ‘your song’ feature video from Sky, although cringe, really brought home just what a strange time we are living through seeing all the videos of all the great historic british moments from Silverstone with the hundreds of thousands of fans. Quite poignant.

I enjoyed Channel 4’s interview with Vettell. He really does have an amazing use of English. Good sense of humour too

The way the commentators defend everything Albon does is bloody annoying. Somehow they are trying to blame Magnussen for that contact, he’s on the racing line. Albon tries overtakes on such silly parts of the race track.

I like F1 and love Hamilton.

But I’m finding this a boring race, so far.

The incidents didn’t involve contenders. So little overtaking.

The Sky commentators have resorted to going on and on about lowly Albon zzzzzzzz.

I've just ironed 2 pairs of trousers and 10 shirts . . . don't think I've missed much other than a blow out.

Mercedes got away with that.

Why did they leave Hamilton out after Bottas puncture and Verstappen stopping too?

You only need watch the last couple of laps of this race. Best I’ve seen in a long time!

Looks like Red Bull threw away a win there by pitting Max.

Then RB would have just left Max out in the hope that he could make it round, they'd be in a no lose situation then.

Mercedes did the right thing in keeping him out.

Well done Lewis! A bit hairy there at the end but a win is a win!

This pitting at the end to get fastest lap was going to catch someone out sometime. It does look like it cost Max a win today. Perhaps not worth it for 1 extra point - but I guess it spices things up for us viewers.

So back at Silverstone eh? Not sure how this weekend will play out other than Merc 1-2 in quality and race (obvs).

Maybe tyres will be a big issue but with all the teams likely to do 2 stops maybe not as big of a deal than last week. Would be nice to see Hulk do well. Racing Point competing under appeal as I think the other teams see them as getting off lightly.

His head is not in race mode, hasn't been for a few years now.

Norris and Hulkenburg going ok.
