Fortuna recieved a bid from a Championship club, looks like he is heading back to England after a very successful season in the Eredivisie.

Good luck to him if so.

I like the idea of British yoof going to Europe to play. Sancho has proven it can be a great step in their career.

Very pleased for him if that happens. Albion originally decided not to offer him a scholarship, but after having an unsuccessful trial at Villa he re-joined the club on non-contract terms. His performances for the U-18s persuaded the club to give him his scholarship after all - NSC U-23 Player Profile - George Cox

Glad to see a young lad get his head down, work hard, and reap the rewards.

Good grief - have we started breeding LBs here, as well as CBs? Cox, Cochrane ............ now young Furlong very promising.

BG would be pleased!

Breeding left backs, yet we still go out and splash a lot of dosh on Cuccerella.

But yes before anyone says anything, l know he seems to be well worth the outlay, plus of course some didn't quite make the grade, and others such as James Furling, aren't quite the finished article yet.
