Without meaning to sound negative, I find the whole immediate area around rather O2 very off putting. Loud and aggressive looking youths in sportswear riding about on push bikes and speaking in short unintelligible sentences. Not a nice area. Can’t speak for all of Greenwich just the immediate area by the o2.

Another vote for The Pilot, by default the best pub in walking distance. Further afield (and depending how you are planning to get there), get off at Maze Hill, and go to The Crown on Trafalgar Road - they also do a decent pizza in there. It's then 10-15 bus journey to the O2.
