Yet another good performance, yet another loss.

Ryan 5 - needs to save that goal. Other than that he did well as usual.

Montoya 5 - did a very good defensive job but does far too many technical mistakes
Webster 7 - good
Dunk 7 - also good
BUrn N/A - excellent performance by Dan who actually did a few nice crosses as well. MoM.

Mooy 7 - Involved in everything and very tidy
Bissouma 7 - looked confident and won a lot of ball
Pröpper 6 - worked hard, but made some easy mistakes

March 6 - great defensive work and running but lacks end product
Trossard 5 - very frustrating to watch

Maupay 6 - did everything well... except for the too many missed chances

Ali J 6 - is a point player and got quality in deliveries etc, would like to see more of him
Murray 5 - not very useful anywhere but in the box
Alzate played too little but showed little to suggest he would have been a better starter than the ones who played.

Ryan 5 - commanded his box well but had to do a lot better with the goal

Montoya 6 - did alright without ever providing a regular threat going forward, kept Zaha quiet
Dunk 5 - did what he does but lost Ayew for the goal
Webster 4 - lost Benteke for his chance and looked uncomfortable against him
Burn 7 MOTM - kept Zaha out of the game early on and provided more threat with balls in than anyone

Propper 4 - lost the ball a lot and didn't offer much at the sharp end
Bissouma 5 - showed good touches, was surprised he was taken off
Mooy 4 - some nice touches but not the same player since we signed him

March 4 - did a lot better defensively, missed great chance
Maupay 5 - one of the few who seemed up for it, point taken off for hitting it straight at the keeper when clean through and for heading Dunk's shot off the line
Trossard 4 - rubbish when he starts

Subs;
Murray 4 - offered little
Jahanbakhsh 4 - offered little
Alzate 4 - didn't do a lot but what he did he didn't do well

I know incredible set of scores must of been watching the way game Mooy 7?
Worst player on pitch 4 at best

Mooy had a shocker. Lots of merriment around us when he was made MOTM. I am usually very positive but the insipid display today, involving much giving the ball away, being easily brushed off the ball and lamentable finishing has left me pretty fed up.
A part of me wants to get this over with and start afresh in a league in which we can compete.

The fact we lost to a poor palace team means no player should be getting ratings above 6. Too many headless chickens on the pitch.

Can’t be arsed to rate them all but a special 3 each for Trossard and Mooy who managed to offer absolutely fück all between them. Mooy looked like he was running with concrete boots, Trossard appears to be so bereft of confidence it’s unbelievable. Thought Montoya, March and Bissouma were 3 of our better players, feel like Potter really got his substitutions wrong today. What’s with Murray coming on then playing wide?

I just dont do the "we lost so everything and everyone is shit" or the "we won so everyone should be turned into a statue" stuff.

and I quite agree with that, but likewise I don’t do the over rating of a performance that was just ok

A poor Palace team with one outstanding player. He is the difference between the two sides.

I’m assuming you’re talking about Zaha? Forgive me, but he did absolutely fûck all today, Montoya and Pröpper has him under control the whole game, the only time he looked like doing anything was when we poured forward looking for an equaliser, and SEGW still couldn’t score.
