Not sure where in central London you can do 20mph, nothing but roadworks, building work, bike and bus lanes.

I do. Although it's hard not to go over.

I don't have a problem with it, especially on less open road. The traffic may well flow better. Adds 5 minutes max to a five mile journey.

I read somewhere that a car engine running at 20 MPH produces nearly twice as much pollution as one traveling at 30 MPH.
I wonder if it's true?
If so the tree huggers will have a field day (If you'll pardon the expression)
