[Albion] MOTD??

I've just watched the short highlights on Seagulls TV of yesterdays game where we should have had a definite penalty for a handball. There was no doubt about it. MOTD made no mention of it whatsoever. I thought VAR was supposed to pick this sort of incident up. If not what's the point of having VAR? And why MOTD didn't say anything. Both useless at times.
