Started early. Thursday in Burton for a few.
Friday off to the Derby Beer Festival in the afternoon. Back to Burton in the evening.
Match day being taken on a pre and post match Sheffield ale house crawl. Hope to cross the paths of the many staying over for the weekend.

Hop House 13 with dinner last night and a small-ish glass of Jura before bed. Cheeky Asahi with lunch in the local Korean place. Few beers in Kings Cross tonight. Should be nicely lubricated for tomorrow

Spent a few days in Sheffield late 80s/early 90s : visiting a mate whilst I was studying in Hull. Used to be a small Pub, that sold a beer called "Roger and Out" that claimed to sell the "strongest hand-pulled beer in the world" - it was only ever sold in a third of a pint measure (wine glass) and you got a certificate for drinking it.. actually quick google search found this : https://www.exposedmagazine.co.uk/food-drink/famous-beer-returning-to-the-frog-parrot/ might be worth a visit to see if its still going!! The article was dated 2018.. Might be needed afterwards if the result goes against us!!
