Just been called a "dressing gown" on Twitter. I have no idea what this means other than I am guessing it is an insult because the guy didn't agree with my comment.

There doesn’t seem to be a definitive answer to the insult ‘dressing gown’, although a synonym is a ‘lounging robe’ which I consider to a rather complimentary term if somewhat louche. Very Noel Coward, dear boy.

Shirley if mockney he should've called you a "dressing", as in "Are you going up the apples?" the use of the first descriptive but not the actual rhyming word, jolly clever.
