There's a pretty decent batch on at the moment but my personal faves are Simon Cowells Barclaycard ad (You know, I know good business....) and the onthemarket advert (we had a few members of the onthemarket choir come and sing carols at our lights switch on, they were excellent).

Well the only way you can completely avoid advertising on non linear services (and they are increasing) is to record on a platform like sky and wind forward.
I can't believe some people are still in the "series link >> play >> fast forward" generation.
( To answer the question. Recording on Sky is still my preferred method so I can skip past the adverts )
