I'm going to be honest, it's not my cup of tea, but it shows there is huge variety when it comes to dance music.

Are you into mainly techno? What about the likes of Groove Armada, Nightmares on Wax etc?

I'm into all sorts

How does this sound? A genre of electronic dance music (witch house) that's captivated me recently.

I like that a lot, I'm really into my deep melodic tech house/techno. The stuff that gives goosebumps. Have you heard of Jon Hopkins? His album singularity is the nuts.

This is a stunning piece of music...

That Isolee track still regularly makes it into my bag when i'm doing a party, I've got a copy of this edit though which is brilliant.

Yes, that's cracking

A poppy take on Autechre, if I may be so bold

Sometimes when I want to listen to electronic music, I just go down the simple route. Like Todd Terjes "Inspector Norse", probably heard by more or less everyone with the vaguest interest in electronic music. Still good though.

A few years ago I started listening to "nu jazz", a mix between jazz and electronic music.

One of my favorites is Norwegian pioneer Bugge Wesseltoft who has made a lot of nice stuff. Dig this in particular:

Also I've become a sucker for the combination of "world music" and electronic music. Example:

Printworks is really good as it's tobacco dock. Normally do DnB however at printworks was most recently there for Anjunadeep in December which was quality. Really wanted to go to J2 this year but it's the same day as a festival in Nottingham which is a shame, will end up in Berlin shortly after up make up for it on the techno sound. Fancy trying shelter in the dam at some point this year as well

Bit obsessed with Octo Octa at the moment after discovering her last album on vinyl at Rarekind. A classic for techno/deep house/90s rave fans.

Joy Orbison as always. Most recently this at the end of last year, which had the old say it now sample I'll always associate with Altern-8.

[yt]ThaTKXGXHKE[/yt]

Bit of crunchy Dutch techno.

I have reams more of this crap but don't want to bore. If anyone wants recommendations or a mix or owt, just shout.

Anyone who was into the 90s rave culture might find this irresistably nostalgic. I wasn't even part of it but this video still gives me anemoia (great word, look it up).
