City fined 30M Euros and banned from European competitions for 2 years.......never happened to Barcelona, Juventus etc

I’m sure they will appeal get into next seasons champions league whilst the appeal is heard and then no doubt get it suspended for 2 years

On one hand, City still have a chance of winning 3 trophies this season. Along with a 2nd place league finish, that would normally be an excellent season.

On the other, their European dreams until 2022 could be over in only a month and 4 days time when they play Real Madrid in the 2nd leg on 18th March.

Cue Pep leaving along with the big name players who'd want to play at the highest level of European football.

And with their departure, Liverpool's continued dominance on the domestic stage seems even more assured now.

With no European football to distract, I think they’d be nailed on PL Champions 2021 and 2022. A juicy week’s rest between fixtures all season for their £900m squad.
