Not sure we missed Webster, but we did Stephens. Mooy was poor in that position first half, Gross better and Alzate much better second half. Sorry to say it, but poor team selection first half and poor positioning. Better second half, but Not Potters best day

Every successful team in football needs a specialist DM, even ManC.

I don’t care if it’s DS or an upgrade, but he’s currently the only one we’ve got.

For spells, Watford poured through the middle to powder puff non-challenges.

Missed Webster massively, not Stephens.

I expect Webster to come in for Duffy next time. Alzate should have started with Propper and Mooy instead of Gross today.

Absolute rubbish. Duffy defended, his main job, far better than Webster ever has and Alzate is best coming off the bench. Our weaknesses to day were Mooy and Schelotto who were both awful.

Absolute rubbish. Duffy was dreadful and we massively missed Webster instigating attacks and Alzate should be one of the first names on the teamsheet.

not quite sure how a defender creates space for others, or if thats a good thing.

also, Webster and Stephens played against Sheffield United at home, not sure why they would be key to any improvement on the away fixture.

I assume the first Webster should be Duffy? His general play was awful nobody passed to him unless no other option. That in itself speaks volumes for his overall play. As I said above I see why he played but we lost far more than what we gained

Not sure we missed Stephens or Webster, but we did miss Bobby Z.

I see your Zamora and I raise you a Nogan.

Either way we miss a truly quality striker - Murray is a legend and can indeed find those little gaps still, but (alas) not as often and Maupay is all hustle and bustle with the composure of an ill prepared 5 year old delivering the Gettysburg address! I liked the selection today, that said, with Alzate (from the start) and Bissouma in I think things may have been different.
