Take a look back at Sheff Utd in the 2017/18 season. It was year two of the Wilder project and they finished 10th in the Championship, similar to year one of the Potter/Swansea project. Wilder already had a good handful of the players he has now plus folk like Brooks but it took time for players to understand his methods because they are a lot more complex than your average Bruce, Moyes or Hodgson’s.

Their fans gave him time and are being rewarded in year three.

What could our Potter year three team look like?

Lamptey—White—-Dunk—Bernardo
———-Alzate——-Molumby———-
-March—-Mac Allister——Trossard
——————Edouard——————-

Whilst I feel guilty about leaving Murray out (and a few others), my word have we got some players who could develop.

We really only need to sign a Striker once we get all our quality loanees back?

We certainly look like a team in transition from a specific playing style to a new one. We make silly mistakes but that is a culture shift.

A few new additions in the summer

Probably still have Murray leading the line.

It all rather depends what division we're in
