[Albion] Will we be signing a DECENT striker on loan or permanent before the window closes?

Will we be signing a decent new striker by the time the window closes?

Will we EVER pay the going rate for a proven striker, even at Championship level?

no, but maybe our midfield should be either banging in more themselves or providing better opportunities for the forwards.
stop messing around just outside their box, take control and shoot, then teammates its your responsibility to pounce on the rebound.

footnote...Dale when we have 7 in their half, please don’t pass back. no point in being our most important player if you don’t have the confidence or ability to put that cutting killer pass to our forwards or wingbacks.

No. As predicted. Huge roll of the dice that.

I see it more as professional suicide, something somewhat out of character for Mr Bloom.

Not that bothered. Murray could hardly get a game in the first 24 matches and we now have just 14 to go.

There is of course the risk that we don't just need a 3rd choice, but will need a 4th choice as well - and we haven't got one : Gyokeres, Mlakar, Radulovic out on loan. Who is next in line ?

Take your boots to the AMEX, just in case.

Graham Potter has said in a previous interview he would have no problems playing Trossard up top.

Does anyone else think that Naylor actually enjoys sharing the bad transfer news re a Striker? I have visions of him sat behind his PC, keyboard ready creaming himself with excitement.

Yes he does. He is a Stoke fan.

A successful Albion is good for Naylor's career so the idea that he'd enjoy our struggles is far-fetched. Besides, after covering us all these years I'm sure he has a soft soft despite being a Stoke fan.

Barcelona are seemingly on the verge of emergency signing former Middlesbrough marksman Martin Braithwaite for £17m.

Have you read the whole story behind the transfer? It’s fairly unsavoury.

Serhou Guirassy, a player linked to us at the end of the window, scored twice against PSG in a 4-4 thriller.

But he's no Tomer Hemed.
