Did you know - and I know someone who works on Corrie - that Ken Barlow was replaced in 1998 by a different actor but it was never made public.

Corrie was an important part of growing up in the 70's. Can't stand it these days. But can remember the character he played and he played an awesome part.

Agree, I still remember the scene when he stood up from his wheelchair during a darts match in the pub.
I hadn't seen the programme since the 80s until yesterday when I caught a few minutes of Vintage Corrie
