Shrewsbury's pitch looks decent. Promising start. Never been to the New Meadow - I think the only time we've played there was in the Football League Trophy and won in a penalty shootout on Sky.

Really enjoyable game. 1-0 to the Scousers.

Adrian pulled off a good save and Curtis Jones took his goal brilliantly. You'd have thought he'd been doing that for ten years or so.

The Shrews are creating plenty of chances.

Shrewsbury net a penalty (foul outside area) and set up a cracking last half an hour. 1-2.

Shame about the terrible own goal. What was he DOING?

I was there for that game. Young John Sullivan saved a penalty to put us through to fail to Luton in the semi final.
