It did look like Shane was just gong through the motions rather than busting a gut for his 'boyhood heroes'
I think the occasion got to him.
He had too much invested in the game, he probably didn’t sleep a wink the night before. This is what happens when you mix business with your personal life; fear and hatred on the football pitch are not good things.
All too much for him.
