Still in Brighton
What looked like a scoop to get an up and coming, insightful, progressive English manager is currently looking like a huge error of judgement leaving us with an over promoted Tinkerman, way out of his depth.

However, a couple of good wins and we'll be back in the Next England Manager category again!

At least Hughton had 3-4 seasons before everyone started blaming him for everything. Same people I bet.

There is nothing wrong with what Potter is doing. He will make mistakes here and there but only the superfans think any managers are infallible

Oh and hughton didn't deserve it I forgot about everything he did for the club. Potter arrives and hasn't done much for the club and is handed a 6 year contract, madness.

What the **** is Potterball?
Play a lot of passes in front of the opposition for 20 to 30 mins with never getting behind them or getting a shot off. After this, faff around playing out of the back, especially from goal kicks and then allow Webster to hand the oppo a goal on a plate.
From there, add subs. One of which must be a full back and at which time place midfielder in the back 4!
Although chasing a goal, under no circumstances bring on the guy that has scored more goals for the club than the rest of the useless fools put together!
At the end of the game mumble on about how we had our possession but didn’t take our chances (which we didn’t make) and we got punished but the lads put in 100% and this is what the Premier League is all about (all while taking sharp intakes of breath before answering any question).

Not sure I am a fan of Potterball!!

We haven’t got the quality of player to refuse to play it long for a complete 90 minutes, with the fine interplay in our box. Liverpool and ManC just about achieve it, god knows how when under immense pressure from a press. But even they play it safely 60 yards, when boxed in by forwards.

One of the surprises on the opening day was our willingness to intermittently go direct effectively, if only because it kept Watford guessing, as demonstrated by Dunk's assist that day. Can only recall a couple of inaccurate long passes from Gross tonight.
