I don't rate him, particularly, a lot of running around and hassling but not much to show for it. I think Connolly and a new Murray are the future. good lay off for the goal but had a dozen crap passes too. Connolly was totally owned by Mings, MaupaY did at least give him a hard time.

The guy that was up front on his own for 90 minutes, created our goal superbly and ran all game and was our only real attacking threat?!
There is no point playing Murray or Connolly, for different reasons they’re both not up to this level at the moment, Maupay is having to do it all on his own.

if a player isn't frustrated after that result he hasn't got a pulse..........excruciating to watch , Potter asked for a cauldron , he got another piss weak effort from the home crowd , 2500 Villa fans gave their team the lift in the second half and had to be that man you all hate Grealish to take advantage of a bit of dopey defending on our part........at the other end of the pitch we are an enigma , why won't we shoot ffs........not a good day at the office Maupay having a massive spaz at the end , ripping his shirt off going down the tunnel and Trossard sulking and looking like he'd rather be at Leicester. Referee didn't help , he was ****ing woeful.

Have to agree. From a superb start, Connolly has been poor most games. Works hard but no end result.
Think he needs to go on loan at Championship for a season and learn how to score goals against over 23s.
We really need a couple of additions in January and not next season.
Lose to Bournenouth and we are right in the relgation mix.
