Worthing
Travelling from Worthing to the match later, Southern website shows literally just one east bound service an hour. What's going on?

I say Worthing, actually travelling from Durrington and unless I'm missing something there just seems to be one train an hour that stops there

I expect we’ll see lots of people standing in the doorways and not moving down the carriage to allow others on. Also, a last minute sprint from 100 or so people from the front of platform 2 to the back of the train when they realise they can’t all fit on.

It happens every week.

1 an hour from Durrington, or travel west and change at Angmering to go back east for a 2nd option in that hour.

4 an hour from Angmering.

Why this is, I have no idea.

Just had a look on the National Rail site. Weirdly the 'Live trains' tab shows just the one from Durrington to Brighton, at 56 past the hour, while the 'Planner' tab shows one at 56 and another at 25 past the hour. Which is correct is anybody's guess

How many train threads have we had on NSC? Probably more train threads than the amount of posts on the "The 1 Million reply thread."

Seems very strange - almost an East Worthing level of (non-) service.

It is the Gatwick Expresses which have been diverted to Brighton via Littlehampton.

Hence the timetable changes and trains sailing through some stations ( like Durrington ).
