I cannot see us letting him go to Villa unless of course we beat both Villa and Bournemouth in which case it would make more sense

I feel the opposite. I would be desperate to see him in the opposition starting line up for that match.

It's not like they would be getting a Shane Duffy or a Lewis Dunk style defender. And the way Solly could fly past him in training all bodes well

This. I like the guy but he can only play one position ( right wing back). It presents a place in the squad for the Spurs lad whilst giving us half a million or so.

That doesnt seem to have stopped Webster being picked.

I agree on this one. As long as it’s £5m+ - don’t thing he’s good enough, although hasn’t been bad this season.

Leaves us a bit short in both the lustrous mane and piratical appearance departments. I'm not sure there's anyone in the youth setup to cover either of those so it's a disastrous move that leaves us two players short.
