Decent performances in general but the absolutely terrible performance from the defenders made it very difficult for everyone else. Its hard to play midfield or attacker when your back three are incapable of even keeping the ball on the pitch while in possession.

Ryan 8 - several great saves and good distribution but a goalkeeper needs to get that corner

Dunk 5 - so many bad passes, missed interceptions
Duffy 4 - even worse than usual with the ball and the goal is very poor defending from him
Webster 5 - very close to a four, poor passing and lazy defending. Slightly better in second half.

Bernardo 7 - some easy ball losses but won a lot of headers and showed excellent control most of the time.
Stephens 6 - doing a lot more playmaking with Mooy injured and while it wasnt great he generally did quite well
Pröpper 6 - pretty anonymous but didnt give the ball away that much today
Montoya 5 - did his defensive work decently but any time he gets the ball, its dead

Ali J 6 - absolute nothing to work with but every action he made had a thought
Maupay 6 - didnt have a fun day but generally did well when he was involved
Trossard 4 - feel free to start adapting to the PL

Alzate 7 - great at carrying the ball which was much needed since no-one in the back line looked like a footballer
Gross 6 - did ok
Murray 6 - too bad he didnt score, but even getting into these positions suggest he has a few goals left in him

Would question Bernardo 7! Also gave the ball away for the goal.

Dunk 5? Not at his best, but 5?

Last 30 was a good effort. Unlucky not to get a point imo.

Trossard just cannot play 90 mins. Keep him away from the starting lineup and use him as a impact sub when for whatever reason he just performs better

Ryan - 8 some good saves kept us in the game and some cash going to the Australian fires fund
Montoya 4/5 - offered little either way.
Webster 5 - looked better at RB that Montoya did but wasn’t great in either role. Should have been clean through from his driving run but Mia controlled
Dunk 6 not his best day but some good blocks. Passing well off mind
Duffy 5 won a lot of headers in 1st half but distribution also poor
Bernardo 6 at fault partly for the goal but looked ok apart from that

Stephens 4terrible performance. Passing poor and didn’t break play up. Seemed a passenger to me
Propper 5 also poor but better when deeper late on allowed us to actually keep the ball for a while

Trossard - 6 only player that showed any real reactive quality with his shot and the cross for Murray. Unfortunate was very inconsistent as well
Ali J 5 did ok but didn’t offer enough going forward to trouble Everton
Maupay 6 tried hard isolates in 1st looked good when dropping slightly deeper to accommodate Murray.

Alzate 7 to me has to start in Cm makes things happen and we controlled the game a lot better
Grob 5 should have shot when well placed but was lively
Murray 6 had 2 chances and made the keeper work which no one else did for 70 mins. Mupaay needs a player to work off

Dunk 5? Not at his best, but 5?

Had the ball more than anyone in the team. 13 missed passes, 74% pass completion - illegal for a defender. Yes he did some good defensive work but if you give the ball away over and over again you cause more trouble than you solve.

Dimly handed them a pen and his sending off in the first 5 minutes, miraculously escaping, no one knows why.

The usually inept Dominic Calvert-Diver ran past him as if he didn’t exist for several chances.

Poor again today, slow and miles away from playing for England.

But, he also put in at least 2 goal saving blocks.

If Murrays flick had gone in it would be a totally different tune on here right now.

We were outplayed for 75 minutes, awoke after that. Maty Ryan was a hero today, brilliant.

Away from our biased either way comments, the BBC stated it was a dominant Everton performance and we were poor.

I have been saying that for awhile.

He is a very talented player, but I do not think he is yet ready for a 90 minutes player.
