[Football] Melbourne Victory

I went to see Melbourne Victory play at AAMI Park yesterday.

I had fish & chips and a couple of glasses of wine............in my seat.

I had a bottle of water in my bag........with a lid on it. There were even refill stations around the concourse so I could fill it up.

A chap in the row in front of me had coffee.........in his flask.

There was no VAR.

Happy Days.................(although I do miss the Albion and the Amex even though I have every game live on the TV)

I doubt the Albion would be too concerned with bottle tops and they were also only attracting 14k in their 30k stadium.

Apparently the attendance last night was 14,500 in a 30,000 capacity stadium which looked about right.
I’ve only been once before on a holiday years ago so I don’t really know on a regular basis.

Just looked at the wilki page for the ground, similar size to The Amex, just a tad over 30k. Nice looking ground, also mentions they want to expand to 50k at some point but the roof will have to be reconstructed. My I am so BORING!

Hmmm bet the fish wasn't cod or haddock though, more than likely something like barramundi. A distinct lack of malt vinegar and mushy peas too.

If I were a regular punter in that arrangement I'd expect a lot more than you got. Half time BJ for starters!
