Obviously humanity can't continue gazing at a dreary 4 by 2 black box forever. What technology d'ya reckon Ben's Great Grandad will be failing to master in ten years time?

Asking for a friend.

Vodafone suggested they could let me have an Apple TV box for £2 per month on my existing contract but I said thanks but no thanks.

I don't suppose they mentioned how much for the moving sex doll, did they?

In the future Bluetooth will be replaced by Backteeth, as everyone will be fed up with it not fecking working properly.

Do you mean Ben's grandson? You may be getting your ancestors and descendants mixed up.

Books, garden tools for growing veggies, bicycles, rediscovering friendly card games, jumpers for goalposts, public transport. I wouldn't assume technology will continue moving forward (not at the same pace, anyway). Most of it is more for the benefit of the sellers than the buyers; maybe we'll reach a mature saturation point.

No idea what it'll be - but what I have no doubt whatsoever about is that I won't be dashing out to buy one!

New tech will be focussed on environmental and energy projects. Personal tech has plateaued with new stuff being for completists and those who have more money than sense. Things may get faster but there’ll be no major innovation in the next five years.

Ben may have a son called Ben and BG will update his username to become BGG. And Bens Dad Ben will be posting. Then the new Ben too. Wonder what the current BGs son is called. It'll be a Benfest
