He was given a yellow card and later described it as “ I was rude to an idiot”

Referring of course to the complete and utter shyster!

The bloke has really gone downhill in management. No idea why Spurs hired him. This won't last.

I thought the ‘idiot’ in question was saints goalkeeping coach who I believe is the person he had the confrontation with.

All a deliberate part of the Mourinho show .... flare ups, mind games, controversial comments against everyone. To turn his club into a fortress, them against the world.

Used to work a treat. Time will tell if it gives him the edge over Guardiola, Lampard, the next ManU manager, etc.

Mildly funny if you like aggro.

Usual Mourinho detracting from a shit performance on the pitch by making it all about him.

Do we not see through this by now?

It’s a lame excuse. There’s really no need to be rude to idiots; I always try and ensure I’m polite and courteous. I’m sure wellquickwoody and Two Professors will back me up on this.

It was someone on the saints bench he had a word with, not Mike Dean.

Clearly if he was talking about Mike Dean he would have called him a ****.
