When I lived in London, I used to know Freddie Mercury.
One day he said to me "Brok, you can cook, can you teach me, please?"
I said "Yes Freddie, I'll teach you to bake a cake if you want."
He said "That's great, but I don't just want to bake one cake"

I asked "How many cakes do you want to bake, Freddie?"

He replied🎵 "I want to bake threeeeeee…. I want to baaaake three"🎵

I trust that you endeavoured to ascertain his reasoning for this - was it three because there were three kings or was it based on the Trinity?

When you told him to preheat the oven to 180 degrees C, did he put it on 356 instead and say, "That's why they call me Mr Fahrenheit."?

I'm confused. Edmonds or Gallagher?

When they came out all burnt, did he shrug his shoulders and say "the show must go on"?

He sang that he wanted to BREAK free.

I suspect the petty instruction was too much for him.

I think he just wanted to ride his bicycle home.

Too many cakes makes for fat bottomed girls.

Now I'm here, I have a very good banana cake recipe.

I’m sure a nice banana would be right up Freddie Mercury’s alley.

The joke doesn't work because Freddie Mercury famously didn't have a sweet tooth.

When his mother ran up inviting him round for tea and cake, Freddie would usually reply "Moma, just grilled some ham" and stay at home.
