Interesting - I'm watching via a Firestick on an admittedly quite old TV. Possibly down to the processing ability of the TV. Will have to wait till Boxing Day to watch it on the in laws Smart TV to compare.

Watching on the TV through the app on an AppleTV box and it's very smooth. I'm not sure I'd notice any difference from the like of BTSport, Netflix and Youtube watched the same way.
