Tough games for all five sides immediately below us, but Norwich will be fancying their chances against out-of-sorts Arsenal, whilst Southampton will be looking to cut Watford adrift.

There's a reasonable chance the bottom of the table could be even more convoluted for the midweek round of fixtures.

Saturday 30/11
Newcastle United v Manchester City (12:30)
Burnley v Crystal Palace
Chelsea v West Ham United
Liverpool v Brighton & Hove Albion
Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth
Southampton v Watford (17:30)

Sunday 1/12
Norwich City v Arsenal (14:00)
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Sheffield United (14:00)
Leicester City v Everton (16:30)
Manchester United v Aston Villa (16:30)

Good chance that all five teams that could possibly overtake us will also lose, so as long as we don't take a thrashing we could lose and still stay 15th.

That, IMHO, is our best case scenario.

I'd been asking my Gooner work colleagues to hang onto him for another week or so, with 2 "winnable games " coming their way!! Ah well...

I've got a real belief that we can win at Anfield. It will be 36 years, 9 months, 11 days since that incredible day. What a way to upset their record.

Now there's a memory and a half...Perry Digweed...forgot about him....And the day of ONLY ONE SUB allowed - wow the men were men in them days, once the sub was on pretty much would take a broken leg for an player to go off the pitch

Newcastle one down, but straight back into it with a well-worked equaliser.

Man City don't quite look 100% today - Newcastle may have a chance here.

With a pretty uncool name, its nice for Kevin that he's quite good at kicking a football. Fukk me what a hit.
