I'm sure it's covered somewhere in the match thread, but why did Mr D. give our Dale a yellow? Was it just for old time's sake, or what?

He tripped up a City player earlier in the build up when Leicester were breaking. Whether it was intentional or not, I didn't see it.

He took out a Leicester player in the centre circle off the ball. It took about 10 minutes for the replay to show on the channel I was watching.

Correct decision and let's be fair, I'm not sure Dean got a decision wrong today.

Not booking Maddison for diving.
Not booking their player for deliberately blocking off March.
Maupay penalty (going off Sky comments that were text to me)
Their penalty was soft.
Maddison free-kick before half time.....

That’s without me even really thinking too much.

Sorry thought he was dreadful [emoji2]

Fair enough. Although he does rather give me the creeps, I'll admit that Mr D. is slipping down my personal league table of despicable refs.

Letting their player stroll off the pitch on the half way line when he was centimetres from the touchline by the goal had imo a direct influence on their first goal

Jamie Vardy to score 1+ goals, Dale Stephens to be carded was 11/2

This. He was AWFUL on his bias yet again. How he didnt book the LCFC player for taking out March completely in that run down the right wing in the 2nd half is beyond me and that pen was soft as you like. VAR wont overrule unless clear and obvious error, it wasnt a clear and obvious error adn nor was it a clear and obivious penalty.

With a least three of their players dying and making miraculous recoveries, 5/6 subs at least 5 minutes checking penalties 3 minutes added on. Crap rubbish ******* toss pot of a ********

This tends to happen when we lose.... was the penalty a penalty?

Maddison who lets face it has form at the Amex (second yellow last season for diving) must have kissed the turf five times with his gratuitous diving ..maybe it’s why Southgate doesn’t pick the media darling for England

Totally agree. In the North Stand bar afterwards they showed the highlights and Maupay was definitely caught with a knee. Webster was fending off the Leicester player for their pen and it was very very soft.

Mike Dean just loves the sound of his own ego inflated whistle...useless ******!

So it was only decisions that didn't go our way ?

Absolutely. Not that it made any difference today but how f***ing hard can it be for refs to stop and start their watch correctly? It's the easiest part of the job. The 6 subs on their own were 3 mins before you allow for the injuries and VAR - should have been 6 at the very least. Even the first half should have been 2 mins for the injury. I think sometimes refs just take it upon themselves to decide the contest is effectively over so they don't bother with proper injury time. Tossers.
