I think it is fair to say, sadly Corbyn walked this one. The other 3 had mares.

You failed to spot the 90% Corbynista audience. The other leaders faced a preplanned (reading from notes) barrage of belligerent statements, masquerading as questions. Corbyn could’ve been at a mini Labour Conference.

Certainly the audience and Bruce seemed to be rooting for Corbyn but this is the bbc so no surprise

Precisely but had it been in Guildford Corbyn would have copped it

At last Johnson is getting the roasting he thoroughly deserves.
It's also about the last 9 years.
This is showing him up for what he is, a useless, lying clown.
But there is no way you are going to see that are you.

Over the last 40 years, you’re spot on with that.

Except I’ve seen recent QT’s (away from left wing Brighton), where the vast majority of the audience are aggressively anti Labour and anti Remain. NSC’ers QT watchers get bloody annoyed with that. I assume UKIP/Brexit do ‘a Momentum’, and flood the audience with lying applicants saying they’re of a completely different political persuasion.

Very much a stage managed debate loaded with Corbyn supporters to make up the audience

I agree it hardly seemed balanced loads of angry students and labour voters

I think i will vote for Sturgeon thought she handled the Corbynsta pretty well. Also thought the SNP woman last night was very sensible.

Corbyn walked it due to bias of audience and presenter, johnson probably did not do too much damage in view he was given a bum rap, sturgeon, does anyone care ? but swinson died on her feet there

But they are asking questions that stem from the truth and want answers.
Nothing was spun or twisted.
The Tories have a lot to answer for, Johnson was part of it, he has a reputation for lying and people want to somehow find the truth from him.
He fully deserves everything he is getting.

Do they have to be blue rinsed Tories to be eligible to debate on the BBC then?. Not every member of every area of the country is a satified Boris fan. It was in Sheffield, not known for its grass roots political allegiance to the Consevatives so hardly surprising.
