Forgive me if I’m wrong, but cult hero has little to do with ability as such...? But Bruno and Calde are both comfortably cult hero’s...

Only just seen this was based on another thread. Shocking omission though!
On the OPs cult heroes thread I'm not sure Bruno fits the bill, not sure he's mentioned on the thread.
IMO Bruno is a legend rather than a cult hero.

I've always thought of a cult footballer as someone with vast potential but seldom delivers, but when he does, and you are there to witness it, it is the most subliminal moment.

For my sins Brian Horton when manager of Oxford asked me about BHA weakness just before they played us, and I said it was full back as 1 cant defend Johnny Crumplin and 1 cant run Ian Chapman. Oxford beat us I think it was 5-1 and their 2 wingers scored 4.I think.
