Getting closer to Christmas and the best of year lists are starting to appear. As a rule record shops release theirs towards the end of November and the magazines and papers during December.

As is traditional Rough Trade are the first to release their best albums of the year

Agree with this. The Foals have put out two very good records this year. Hot Chip as consistent as ever and Chemical Brothers rolling back the years too.
