Withdean area
Looked into seeing them at The O2 a couple of years ago, but decent tickets at face value were £90 plus each. With the train cost etc, too much for us, just for a gig.

Around the same they did a set for BBC iplayer, which was brilliant. Great band.

I LOVE this band. Seriously underated. They have made some superb songs. I cannot think of a group that have made so many amazing songs so overlooked

With you all the way on this one US! Maybe next time they tour, life’s been a bit too dramatic let’s say of late. Enjoy, am very jealous! Perhaps even a bit ‘Touchy!’

Bloody hell Uncs, it only seems a few years ago since you posted an almost identical thread when they last played the Brighton Centre, but the reality is probably 5+ years ago.

I was surprised to learn that Morten recently celebrated his 60th birthday.

I saw them at Guilfest in 2006 when I'd won free tickets for the second year running in an Argus/Leader competition.

Also on the bill that weekend were The Stranglers, Gary Numan, Billy Idol, the Lightning Seeds and Embrace, the latter two respectively responsible for the Euro 96 and 2006 World Cup songs.

Both beautiful and bittersweet with all those women remembering their lost youth...

Are you confusing A-ha with The Stranglers?
