[Albion] Retro Football Mugs

I was thinking of getting one of those retro 'Ceefax' mugs available online for a secret santa gift for a fellow Albion fan (who's old enough like me to remember such TV technology which ran from 1974 to 2012), but was wondering which match result should I get put on it from this period?

Was tempted with the FA Cup final (the first match) or possibly the Hereford away game for the importance of the result on the day.

Should I go for one of our wins vs Palace, the victory over Donny on the penultimate day of the season, or a big score like when we beat Charlton 7-0 at the Goldstone in 1983?

Any other result suggestions?

If it only ran until 2012 how come the mug illustrated is from 2016? It’s a fake...

As for Brighton games, well obviously there’s only one possible...

Brighton 2 - Bristol Rovers 8

There is artistic licence involved - you can choose any match for any date although I'd like to create one from the period Ceefax was around for us oldies. They are printed for any result you choose. Was now thinking of the Fans United day match as that was a pretty special day.

I'd probably go with the 2-1 FA Cup win at Anfield in 1983.

...or 3-1 Newcastle promotion game... or Walsall 7-0?!

Thought this was a thread about Ppf’s attendance days.
