So sorry for your loss. At some point why not let Villa know what a great job their staff did at an incredibly upsetting time for you. Sometimes stewards get a bad rap for being over zealous or in some cases not doing enough. In this case it sounds like they acted professionally and with great compassion.

At a time that’s good for you I think it would be great to let someone know how well their staff handled the situation.

I did send Villa an email thanking them and this morning received a very nice reply.

This. Too many people are quick to criticize, but slow to praise. Please let Villa know. It might help someone else in the process. Good sows good and all that.
