You'd wonder if any of these cosseted DILBERTS ever put the news on, and see the death, suffering, injury and upheaval that is happening just across their border right now, when they stand there and perform their wanky military salutes after scoring a fvcking goal against who-gives-a-fvck-tisthan (but only after the USA troops were pulled out of harms way of course).

They are utterly beneath contempt. Filth.

Are any of those Premier League players? It would be a shame if they received any abuse whilst on the pitch wouldn't it?

It will be interesting to see what UEFA does about it after our wearing the poppy saga.
This celebrates killing people, we honour and remember the killing of people.

Absolutely disgusting. Are they so ignorant that they don't know what happening, and think the troops are peacefully moving people on, and rehousing them somewhere. Or are they so ignorant and racist that they don't believe the lives of Kurds matter?

I want names, and what clubs these are at. Just in case we somehow come across them someday. The stick Scott McLeish took was light-hearted banter compared the to response this lot should get everywhere they go.

Dreadful

As an aside, it highlights the support that this military action has in Turkey

Even if Tosun plays in the Premier League soon, I doubt there would be too much abuse for him. Most football fans don’t watch the news and aren’t bothered about events in that part of the world.

For those that think this is just 'another mess in the middle east'

It's well worth taking a few minutes to find what is at stake and what those that have given tacit support to Turkey are happy to see destroyed (and this is on top of the simple, disgusting, outrage of, yet again, walking away from allies after they have performed their purpose for us in the West):

HUGE qualifier tonight - France v Turkey. Top of the table clash - and maybe decider.

Come on Frenchies!

Still good of Arsenal to take Ozil out of the firing line given his well known support for the Turkish regime.

Vile. What a total and utter cl*sterf**k of a race humanity really is.

Don’t agree with you that the human race is inherently bad. A few are maybe

For the great majority, it’s not that they are bad. It’s more likely that they are gullible and susceptible to be influenced on complex issues by simple messages given to them by people with power and money who want more power and money.

It happens all over the world, (UK clearly included). I don’t think badly of the Turkish people because of it

Not a fan of turks after going there with my Mrs.

Generalisation yes but didn't see many that didn't try to crack onto her ( and not even on the sly).

For that reason alone , I'm out
