The minnows should earn the right to take on these giants by pre-qualifying in a summer tournament. It's like a training match. Even Christian Benteke scored.

It was 10-1 in 2001, Belgium's joint record score. The match in San Marino earlier this year was only 0-4, and they managed to hold out for 42 minutes, during which they had this glorious opportunity to go ahead
I can remember Liverpool having 9 different scorers in a European match in the 70s, but they scored 10 or 11.

Won a bit of cash over this international break by backing 1/100+ favourites to win & keep a clean sheet.
Australia to beat Nepal and keep a clean sheet . Nepal managed 0 shots.
Japan to beat Mongolia and keep a clean sheet. Mongolia didn’t have a shot.
South Korea to beat Sri Lanka and keep a clean sheet. Again, Sri Lanka didn’t manage a shot.
Those 3 simply to win was 0.01/1. Those 3 to win with a clean sheet was over evens. South Korea went from 1/200 to 4/9!
Then reinvested some of the winnings in another bet including Iran win and clean sheet (got lucky here, Cambodia had one shot... a missed penalty) & Belgium win and clean sheet. Both going from 1/100 and 1/200 to about 1/4. Certainly a bet to look out for in international breaks from now on.

Had to work on this one. San Marino are terrible but actually stopped Belgium from scoring for 55% of the two qualifiers against them (0-0 until 43 minutes at home, 28 minutes in the first half last night and 34 in the second). The fans were desperate for Belgium to score again as it would have bettered their largest ever win.
Their keeper is the son of the guy who saved David Platt's penalty at Wembley in 1993 (although Platt also scored a penalty - one of four goals for him that night, and the first time he captained England.)
Lukaku's donating 5,000 tickets to cancer and diabetes charities and the Belgium official supporters' club to celebrate scoring 50 international goals. Don't know if that excuses punching Bong in the balls at Old Trafford

Not a lot, admittedly. Been doing small bets at just over evens to see if it’s a feasible way to make money if I went bigger stakes.
£5 on the Australia, Japan & Korea treble that returned about £10.50. Followed by £10 on Belgium & Iran clean sheets alongside Poland, UAE & Saudi wins returning £21.
Winning a lot more than I’m losing at the moment, so will be doing much bigger stakes but the same policy soon.
