After the international break Brighton Women (who currently have Megan Connolly and Danique Kerkdijk away on international duty) are back in action at Crawley this Sunday against West Ham with kickoff at 2pm. Having lost last time out in the league away to Arsenal, Albion will be looking to bounce back strongly against a West Ham who are are only one point/one place above them. Come on you Seagulls!

Information about the match available here : https://www.brightonandhovealbion.com/news/1358381/watch-albion-take-on-west-ham-this-sunday

Tickets are available from the Albion for the price of £4 for an adult and £1 for under 18/over 65s

There is also free transport provided by Seagulls Travel from various places around Sussex

This is a good opportunity for us to get our first league win of the season, so hope theres a good crowd to cheer the team on to victory.

None on the Senior England team radar as far as I know but we have some who are involved with some of the junior teams like Ellie Brazil (represented England at under-15, under-17, under-19 and under-20 level), Maya Le Tissier (was captain of the under-17 team as recently as November last year having also captained under-15 team too), and Jodie Brett (under-19 and under-23) so you never know in the future.

With the international break, this was an ideal opportunity to play the game at the Amex so it was accessible to more fans.

Disappointing

I’ve never been to a Brighton ladies game. What sort of a turnout do they get?

Today's lineup for the Albion - quite an attacking one so looking forward to some goals :)

It's unlikely to sell out, but would get a decent attendance.

It's something we need to do at some point to promote our ladies team.

Don't think we should do it until they are more competitive though. If we lose and don't play very well then it might put people off.

They are doing the Birmingham game at the Amex on the 17th of November. Free to all season ticket holders who can also bring a guest for free. Think that might be the next international break.

5 or 6 thousand rattling around in a 30k stadium? Whats the point. They do all they can to promote the ladies team, equal billing in terms of coverage, discounted or free travel and virtual giveaway tickets and the interest is still minimal.

Cup and youth games don't sell out, but are still held at the Amex.

Cup games will always be played at the home ground regardless of opponents. Youth games makes sense to give the potential future first team players the chance to experience playing at the Amex as could end up doing so on a regular basis (a women's BHA footballer isn't likely to play at the Amex on a regular basis).

859 attendance today. Made a late decision to go, got there 15' before KO and still parked free 5' from ground. Cheaper and better food than Amex. Bobby Zamora chose POM but didn't see him. Despite result enjoyed our first visit to Broadmead Stadium.
