Thanks for sharing, I'm a subscriber to The Athletic; found their articles to be of a great standard. This is another one.
It's brilliant to see people dissect how we played, as opposed to how badly they played. At the end of the day, we still had to work hard to beat Spurs. it was never a guaranteed win.
Telegraph's Audio Football Club podcast epitomised the lazy journalism that exists in sports journalism. Nina declared she can't read too much into our performance (whilst lauding Connolly as brilliant) because Spurs are bad at the moment. Ignoring the manner in which we won, which was the complete opposite of how Spurs played and that Potter's tactics and the player execution of the tactics were absolutely spot on.
