Ryan - 8 - good clean sheet that. Great save from that shot from Moura (?) at the end
Montoya - 7 - solid if unspectacular. Overshadowed by the performances of others
Webster - 7 - marked down for a dreadful first 20 minutes where he kept giving the ball away. Brilliant after that. Finally finished one of his runs with a shot on goal
Dunk - 9 - saw of Kane and Son with aplomb
Burn - 8 - a very tidy game
Alzate - 8 - an assist and another busy performance. What a fortnight this kid has had
Mooy - 9 - finally, the Huddersfield Aaron Mooy. Tricky and great passing
Gross - 8 -unlucky with his cheeky free kick. Some great dead ball deliveries and a game defining moment with that overhit cross
Stephens - 8 - dominated the midfield
Connolly - 10 - just a brilliant debut. Today he ARRIVED
Maipay - 8 - full of running

Maupay - 9.5 (a nightmare for big defenders)
Connolly - 10 (a night terror for the same oaths. His second goal exuded supreme self confidence). MOTM

Ryan - 8 - Was excellent when called upon, kicking was wayward on occasion, but other than that , a belter from him today
Montoya - 6.5 - Did well enough, but think he is our weak link.
Webster - 7 - Another good performance, a couple of under-hit passes could have been costly on another day, but got better and better as the game went on.
Dunk - 8.5 - One fantastic sliding tackle saw off a potential dangerous situation. Magnificently assured performance and a couple of beautiful passes to boot
Burn - 7.5 - Decent game from him again, still think he is better going forward than defensively, but today is not the day to pick holes in a defence that kept a clean sheet against a top 6 team.
Alzate - 7.5 - Decent again from the youngster
Mooy - 9.5 MOTM - Absolutely superb today. Didn't think we needed him when he signed. Best Midfield performance of the season. Davy has competition!
Gross - 8 - Superb today. absolutely superb
Stephens - 8 - Loved the 2 shots from corners - He was immense today in the middle as always.
Connolly - 9 - Wow - Knew he was going to prove himself at some point this season, but Wow!
Maupay - 7 - If he could get on the same wavelength as Mooy would have bagged himself at least one more goal. Decent without setting the world alight.

Subs Not enough time to judge

Potter - Well that's the end of the debate (what was left of it) . Tony made the right call.

He was excellent. A proper nuisance, never giving defenders time and snapping away at them like a PL standard CMS.

Made some great runs when he wasn't picked out and a few where he and Mooy weren't quite on the same wavelength but he is clearly QUALITY.

Hoddle was full of praise for the front two as was "teams like Brighton" Joe Cole (eventually).
